Just gone past our halfway point to this holiday. We went into Ella last night for some food. A nice little bar and a lovely tuna steak and we were looked after by two gentlemen with AK-47s across the road.
There's a lot of backpackers here so the town is pretty lively. Maybe they need those big guns sometimes...
We're heading down to Matara today on the south coast. So it's about a 4-Hour journey with our driver Dush. Stopping off at ravana falls on the way for some instagramable pictures.
We're staying in matara for three nights just to chill out and not do very much at all.... That's the idea anyway....
